A very chic large carved sapphire ring with a natural sapphire of circa 45-50 carats, beautifully carved with a Mughal floral motif. The sapphire has been tested to be natural.

Floral motifs such as the Buta began to gain importance in the Mughal empire since Jahangir (1605-1627) and were used very popularly in Mughal arts until the 19th century.

The ring is a contemporary one and has been made later to give the sapphire a more contemporary look. Ring size 7 (can be altered).
